2nd Nene (St. Peter's) Air Scout Group

At an Apollo troop meeting the Scouts made Catapults like the one on the left.
Could they fire a small bean bag into a washing up bowl 8 meters away impossible you might think – then you’d be wrong. Some groups were more successful than others but everyone enjoyed the challenge.

Where the younger leaders any better?  Not really, they went for distance and height rather than accuracy.
